GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
“A LA CARTE” TOURS and TOUR "LOURDES & HOLY PLACES"
VAR ACTIVE. It is a service of people transportation in 8-seater van. The services offered are passenger transfers, chauffeur at disposal and tours "à la carte", with experienced and qualified drivers, in the PACA region (Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur) France. Any request for the service implies full agreement with these conditions.
1. RESERVATION
- All reservation requests will be made by mail. We recommend that you make your reservation as soon as possible in order to ensure availability. Mail : varactivefrance@gmail.com / Tel. - Whatsapp : +33 (0)6.29.30.21.66
* For "à la carte" tours :
- After several exchanges of mails (proposals of routes) with the customers and reached an agreement. A final proposal of the excursion will be made.
- The client will receive a detailed document with the final tour and a budget with the final amount to be paid.
* For the "Lourdes. Holy Places" Tour :
- The places presented on the website are the places that will be visited.
- The client will receive a detailed document with the tour and a budget with the final amount to pay.
- The reservation will be confirmed at the moment we receive from the client by mail or by post, the document duly signed and with the mention " Read and agree " and the payment of the 50% of the total amount of the budget by bank transfer. The rest will be paid 8 days before the beginning of the service.

- The person in charge of the group must give all the necessary information of each person who will travel : Names, contact telephone (whatsapp), contact mail, postal address of the country of origin, ages and if they have any physical impediment (discomfort to walk, allergies, special meals, dizziness inside the vehicle and/or boats, etc).
- Details of the accommodation where the group will be picked up and dropped off. Number of luggage and its dimensions.
- The client is responsible for all the information related to the good development of the service.
- If you need a child seat or a baby seat they must be specified at the time of booking.
- VAR ACTIVE will send by e-mail, whatsapp or SMS all the details concerning the service (corroborating the coordinates and mobile phone of the person responsible for the group, the departure and arrival address, the pick-up time, the number and names of each passenger, the luggage number) and the total price to be paid.
2. RATES AND TERMS OF PAYMENT
2.1 RATES
- The price of the service includes the transfer and the transportation in an air-conditioned 8-seat Van vehicle, including driver-accompanying person-translator.
- All our customers are insured during transport, excluding the time of entry and exit of the vehicle.
- The prices indicated in our rates are in euros and include the TVA (tax) fixed by the French regulations in vigour.
- 750 € rate for 1 vehicle. Including : Transport + driver/accompanying person full day. 8 hours
- 420 € rate for 1 vehicle. Including : Transport + driver/accompanying person half a day. 4 hours
For services from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. : +20% of the base rate.
- The prices do not include: transfers from/to airports or train stations, accommodation, meals, drinks, boat transfers, train, tickets to the sites and/or shows (reservation and payment will be made directly by the client). -Contact us for advice. We will gladly suggest and help you-
2.2 PAYMENT TERMS
- Half of the total amount (50%) will be paid by bank transfer to confirm the reservation. The rest will be paid by the client 8 days before the start of the tour.
- VAR ACTIVE's bank details will be sent to the client by e-mail.
- For professionals, associations and companies the invoices will be collected upon receipt. Either by cash, credit card, bank check or bank transfer.
3. SERVICE
- The service consists of transporting passengers from point A to point A for a predetermined time (approximately 8 hours) with defined stops on the route.
- Customers must book and confirm in advance via our website www.varactive.com or by email varactivefrance@gmail.com
- The service is assured by a Minibus that can receive a maximum of 1 to 8 passengers. (Contact us if you are more than 8 people).
* For the tours " a la carte " :
- The service is personalised. Tours "à la carte" which are created exclusively for the customer. VAR ACTIVE offers 3 major tours from which the customer can choose the one of his choice.
- A personalised proposition of the tour will be made to the customer. Depending on the days he has available (full day).
- A tour will be created especially for the group which will be "flexible and adaptable before and during the tour", as long as the duration of an average of 8 hours per tour is respected.
- Days of arrival and departure from the airport/train are not taken into consideration as travel days. Schedules should be checked to verify if it is possible to use these 2 days as half days of travel.
- The tours are departing and arriving in Draguignan. The same rate will be maintained for cities that are 15 km from Draguignan.
- If customers prefer to leave or arrive from another city (more than 15 km from Draguignan), they will contact VAR ACTIVE to recalculate the price and time of the service.

- Generally the departure is made at 8:30 or 9:00 a.m. from the client's accommodation and the return to the client's accommodation at approximately 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
* For the "Lourdes & Holy Places" Tour:
- The service is the 9-day tour of the places exhibited on the website.
- Day 1 is taken as "Day of arrival" and Day 9 as "Day of departure". These 2 days are not taken as visiting days.
- The full days of visit are 7 days.
* For the 2 tours "a la carte" and "Lourdes & Holy Places" :
- We're not tour guides.
- If the client wants a tour guide to join the group he must request it at the time of booking (subject to reservation availability). Payment will be made directly to the guide.
- The departure and return times of the tour may be modified depending on traffic, technical reasons, weather conditions or delays by customers.
- An email, whatsapp message or reconfirmation SMS will be sent by VAR ACTIVE the day before or on the day of the service.
- The client (person responsible for the group) undertakes to be available at all times, one day before the service, by mail or mobile phone (whatsapp), which have been provided in the reservation.
- VAR ACTIVE will propose to the client a list of accommodations and restaurants for the client to choose from. Reservations and payments will be made directly by the client with the establishment.
4. CUSTOMER PICK-UP BY VAR ACTIVE
- The client must be present at the time and place stipulated at the time of booking.
- A penalty of 50€ / hour will be applied to any person who does not respect the stipulated schedules.
5. CONDITIONS OF TRANSPORTATION
- Smoking and eating inside vehicles is prohibited.
- All passengers in both front and rear seats are required to wear a seat belt.
- In case of degradation of the vehicle, for example due to untimely opening of doors, vomiting or any damage caused will be charged to the customer by making a declaration of the same (600 €).
- VAR ACTIVE reserves the right to interrupt the current service without reimbursement if the behaviour of the customers endangers the safety and dignity of the driver or other passengers.
- VAR ACTIVE will not be responsible for personal objects left behind, lost or damaged inside the vehicle.
6. MODIFICATION / CANCELLATION AT THE CUSTOMER'S REQUEST
- For tours lasting 1 day: To have a full refund, the modification of a reservation requested by the customer must be made either by telephone at +33 (0)6.29.30.21.66, or by email at varactivefrance@gmail.com no later than 72 hours (3 days) before the date of commencement of the service. If the modification or cancellation of the reservation is made in less than 72 hours (3 days) in relation to the day of the start of the service, no refund will be made either partial or total.
- For tours of more than 3 days : To have a full refund, the modification of a reservation requested by the customer must be made either by telephone at +33 (0)6.29.30.21.66 or by email at: varactivefrance@gmail.com at the latest 10 days before the date of commencement of the service. If the modification or cancellation of the reservation is made in less than 10 days in relation to the day on which the service begins, no partial or total refund will be made.
- In any case, VAR ACTIVE will, as a first step, propose new dates to be able to perform the service. If this is not possible, you will have to act as described above.
- VAR ACTIVE reserves the right to accept or reject the request for modification.
- VAR ACTIVE is not responsible for the non-performance of the service if the client has not correctly informed VAR ACTIVE of any modification concerning the reservation.
- In the event that the customer believes that the pick-up time defined by VAR ACTIVE is too late or too early, he should let VAR ACTIVE know by email in order to study the possibility of changing the pick-up time. In this case, VAR ACTIVE is not responsible if the customer is delayed or misses a plane / train / boat, / show, etc.. VAR ACTIVE reserves the right to refuse a service if it considers that the schedule does not suit it.
- Please note that any service that has started partially or in its entirety, can not be reimbursed in whole or in part.
7. MODIFICATION / CANCELLATION ON REQUEST OF VAR ACTIVE
- VAR ACTIVE can modify or cancel a reservation for medical, technical or meteorological reasons. The customer will be contacted as soon as possible to discuss the possibility of changing the date.
- Changing a reservation at the request of VAR ACTIVE does not incur any additional costs for the customer.
- If the cancellation is requested by VAR ACTIVE and the client cannot change the date of the tour, the client will be fully reimbursed.
8. CLAIMS
All claims must be made within 48 hours of the recommended service by letter with acknowledgement of receipt to the following address: VAR ACTIVE 1635 Chemin des Faïsses 83300. Draguignan, France.
9. COMPUTER DATA AND FREEDOMS
The customer acknowledges that his personal data has been communicated by him to VAR ACTIVE for the purpose of making his reservation. The client authorises VAR ACTIVE to store all this information in its computer system. This information is subject to the regulations in force in France concerning the requirements of the CNIL. In conformity with the French law " Informatique & Libertés " n°78-17 du 06/01/1979. The customer can exercise this right by making it known by simple mail or by mail.

TRANSFERS AND DRIVER AT DISPOSAL.
1. RESERVATION

All reservations must be confirmed.

The customer is responsible for all information relating to the proper performance of the service.

Essential information : coordinates, mobile phone, departure and arrival address, pick-up time, number and names of each passenger, baggage number with its dimensions.

The child seat or baby seat are to be specified at the time of contact.
-
VAR ACTIVE will send by e-mail or SMS all the details concerning the service (corroborating the coordinates, mobile phone, departure and arrival address, pick-up time, number and names of each passenger, baggage number) and the total price to be paid for the service.

The reservation will be confirmed when you send us an e-mail or an SMS with the words "Read and agree".
1.1 BAGGAGE

Luggage space inside the vehicle is limited. Depending on the number of passengers, each person has the possibility of having a medium size luggage (56 X 45 25 cm) to be specified and defined at the time of booking.
1.2 SPECIAL LUGGAGE

Transport of sports equipment, voluminous luggage, musical instruments and other special luggage must be specified by contacting us in advance.

All transported animals must be declared at the time of booking. Only animals in their box or cage are accepted inside our vehicles.
2. RATES AND TERMS OF PAYMENT
2.1 Rates

The price of the service includes the transfer and the provision of an air-conditioned 9-seat Van, including chauffeur.

Price per journey, for transfers.

A budget will be sent for the availability.
-
For services from 20h 00 to 8h 00 : +20% of the indicated price.

All our customers are insured during transport, excluding the time of entry and exit of the vehicle.

The prices are in euros and include the TVA (tax) fixed by the French regulations in force.

Transfers.
-
Includes : Transport services, chauffeur, fuel, tolls, parking and unlimited "transported persons" insurance.

Driver at disposal.
-
Not included : Parking and toll charges. The driver's meals are a supplement of 25€.
2.2 PAYMENT TERMS
-
For transfers : The payment of the service will be made at the latest at the time of boarding the vehicle.

Overtime and other hours will be cancelled after the service.
-
The customer can make his payment in cash and / or by credit card directly to the driver before the start of the service.

For professionals, associations and companies invoices will be collected upon receipt. Either by cash, credit card, bank check or bank transfer.

For the "Driver at disposal" : A 50% payment will be made as reservation of the service and the rest of the total amount will be paid 8 days before the start of the service.

Overtime and other hours will be cancelled after the service.

The client can pay by cash, credit card or bank transfer.

3. SERVICE

For transfer services, customers must book and confirm in advance. Contact us through the website or by mail: varactivefrance@gmail.com

The service is assured by a Van that can receive a maximum of 1 to 8 passengers.

For the service of Transfers of guests for special occasions (weddings, anniversaries, etc). Contact VAR ACTIVE directly to give you all the details you need to carry out the service.

Departure and return times can be modified depending on traffic, technical reasons, weather conditions or delays by customers.

A reconfirmation email or SMS will be sent by VAR ACTIVE the day before or on the day of the service.

The customer undertakes to be available at all times, one day before the service, by mail or mobile phone, which have been provided in the reservation.

4. CUSTOMER PICK-UP BY VAR ACTIVE

The client must be present at the time and place stipulated at the time of booking.

The client is informed that the delay of more than 15 minutes of the stipulated hour, will be subject to a penalty of supplementary hour. (80€ / hour)
-
The customer accepts that in the event of a delay in the main transport (bus, airplane, train, etc.), VAR ACTIVE will not be responsible if he misses his subsequent correspondence.

5. CONDITIONS OF TRANSPORTATION

The modification of a reservation requested by the client must be made by phone at +33 (0)6.29.30.21.66, or by email at varactivefrance@gmail.com at the latest 24 hours before the service.

VAR ACTIVE reserves the right to accept or reject this modification request.

VAR ACTIVE is not responsible for the non-performance of the service if the customer has not correctly informed VAR ACTIVE of all the modification concerning the reservation

In the case that the customer believes that the pick-up time defined by VAR ACTIVE is too late or too early, the customer must inform VAR ACTIVE by email in order to study the possibility of modifying the pick-up time. In this case, VAR ACTIVE is not responsible if the customer is delayed or misses a plane / train / boat, etc.. VAR ACTIVE reserves the right to refuse a service if it considers that the schedule does not suit it.

Please note that any services which have started in part or in full cannot be reimbursed in whole or in part.
